“Trolls” Ballet Camp June 19-22
Dancers will enter a colorful, wondrous world populated by hilariously unforgettable characters and discover the story of the overly optimistic Trolls. Attendees will dance to their favorite Trolls music and make a fun Trolls-themed craft.
What to bring: extra change of clothes (in case of an accident).

“Dance with American Girl Dolls” Ballet Camp June 26-29 American Girl Doll Dance Camp
Bring your favorite American Girl Doll (or another favorite doll) and enjoy a summer camp that is perfect for doll-loving girls! Camp day will be filled with crafts, games,  a tea party and a Dance Lesson. All, of course, centered around their American Girl Doll! This may be favorite Day of the summer!
Please label your child’s doll and accessories.

This hilarious adventure full of action, heart and tons of Dance and Crafts participants will create in this camp will take them deeper into the world of Zootopia. It’s big fun for all shapes and species.

“Nutcracker” Ballet Camp August 7-10Nutcracker Summer Dance Camp
Nutcracker camp unbeatable combination of joyful creative motion fused with high-quality dance instruction and engaging professional teachers! Dancers will learn the Nutcracker story and dances from classical ballet Nutcracker performed by ARB students and guest artists in December 2014. As well as do arts and crafts activities, where the students will participate in fun and educational art projects and make up related to the ballet “Nutcracker”.

“Moana” Ballet Camp August 14-17
Dancers will joins forces with a mythical Polynesian demigod and Moana to explore magical lands and experience spectacular encounters with incredible creatures of the sea by creating dances and crafts.

Intensive Ballet Camp

Registration is open for ARB’s Summer Intensive Dance Camp July 10-21
Train with Russian Guest Teacher Mr. Toleu Mukanov, received his early training at the Almaty Choreographic College and later on graduated from Kyrgyzstan Ballet School. In 2002 he was a gold medal recipient at the International Ballet Competition in Crimea, Ukraine, and in 2006 he received a silver medal at the Almaty Ballet Competition. Immediately upon graduation he joined Astana Ballet in Kazakhstan. Later on he danced with Kyrgyzstan’s Opera and Ballet Theatre, Moscow’s Russian Ballet Theatre and Russian National Ballet Company. His past roles include: Basilio in Don Quixote, Golden Idol in La Bayadere, Ali in Le Corsaire, James in La Sylphide, Franz in Coppelia, Joker in Swan Lake, Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty, Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle. Mr Mkanov joined Festival Ballet Providence in April 2012 – October 2014.
2016- Toleu’s first season with Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota.

Ballet Beginners
Ballet class is good for body as well as for mind. Besides promoting cardiovascular fitness and posture this introductory class provides a welcoming and friendly class for adults with little or no prior experience. In this level you will learn the basic positions and concepts of Ballet with exercises at the barre and in the center.

Ballet IntermediateAdults+Ballet3
Ballet class created for any dancer with a basic understanding of ballet technique. This class covers the fundamentals of Ballet technique using simple combinations that allow students to focus on perfecting their technique, musicality, and movement.

Ballet Barre Workoutbarre
This 45 min class inspired by Classical Barre exercise and designed to trim, tightens, and tones your entire body. Ballet-barre class combines traditional ballet techniques including slow exercises to stretch and warm up muscles as well as fast exercises that help to strengthen muscles, develop technique and sculpt the body proportionally.

Aerial 2Aerial Ballet
This class incorporates the aerial silks into choreography allowing dancers to explore space in alternative three-dimensional planes. Integrating vertical and horizontal movement patterns into choreography allows us to explore movement vocabulary otherwise unavailable to dancers.
Aerial exercise helps builds strength, power, flexibility, courage and grace in a non-competitive, exploratory environment.

Academy of Russian Ballet gives opportunity for all metro area youth dancers to take classes without contract and registration fees.
Looking for single classes to improve Ballet Technique? Simple show up and take a class. All age children can participate, check schedule for time.
Children age 3-8 call for spot availability.
ARB graduates and High school Dance Team dancers welcome.
