Vaganova Academy Rossi StreetThe Academy of Russian Ballet (ARB) in Minnesota established in 2001 by co-directors Kirill Bak and Svetlana Gavrilova, who are both graduates of the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia – the most prestigious ballet school in the world .

Through Kirill and Svetlana, the Academy of Russian Ballet has inherited centuries of ballet experience and the best ballet teaching methodologies.

IMG_0487The Academy’s comprehensive curriculum, based on the Vaganova Syllabus, is proven to instill in dancers incomparable technique while striving for a greater sense of artistry, clarity, grace, athleticism, speed and musicality.

We aim to: Provide artistic and academic training of the highest possible calibre, offering all students of the School a positive learning experience which is constantly monitored for potential improvement. Offer students as many performing opportunities as possible. The program serves as a bridge between ballet training and professional performance.

ARB students has great opportunity to perform four times during the school year with classical repertoire as “Nutcracker”, “Paquita”, “La Bayadere”, “Swan Lake” and many others, as well as original ballets “Peter and the Wolf”, “Carnival of the Animals” and “Great Halloween Adventure”
